When SONOFWORD approached us, he didn't just have a song—he had an entire short story. The challenge was massive: translate a deeply personal, musical-theater-style rap track into a cohesive, high-end visual narrative. It required moving past standard music video tropes to build a world where the music and the plot line flawlessly integrated without losing the track's rhythmic energy.
We worked side-by-side with the artist to bring his exact vision to life. SONOFWORD held the narrative blueprint, and our job was to build the world visually. We handled the entire post-production pipeline, crafting a pacing model that treated the music video like a short film. Through meticulous editorial cuts, deliberate scene pacing, and rich, cinematic color grading, we shaped an immersive visual experience that honors the artist's cultural perspective and theatrical intent.
